In August we hosted a Bat Night at St Mary’s church in Pembridge, as part of our involvement in the Bats in Churches project.
This included bat themed crafts and games for the children, who proved themselves very knowledgeable about all things batty. They also enjoyed being ‘bat detectives’ by hunting for signs of the Pembridge bats around the church. They even had a go at identifying different types of bat poo!

We gave a presentation on the Bats in Churches project and some of our findings from bat surveys undertaken at the church this summer. Including some amazing infrared film footage shot inside the church.
